Protecting Your Solo Arena Account

Your Account Security is Our Priority

Your Solo Arena account contains valuable information about your athletic career. Here are essential practices to keep it secure.

Password Security

Create a Strong Password

  • Length: At least 12 characters (the longer, the better)
  • Complexity: Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • Uniqueness: Don't reuse passwords from other accounts
  • Avoid: Personal information (birthdate, names, addresses)
  • Avoid: Common words or patterns (123456, qwerty)

Password Management

  • Use a password manager (LastPass, 1Password, Bitwarden)
  • Change password every 90 days
  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Don't write passwords down or store in email
  • Don't use the same password for multiple accounts

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA Now

Steps to enable:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Choose authentication method (authenticator app recommended)
  4. Scan QR code with authenticator app
  5. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
  6. Save backup codes in secure location

Authentication Methods

  • Authenticator App (Most Secure): Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator
  • SMS/Text Message: Less secure but better than nothing
  • Email: Available as backup option

Keep Backup Codes Safe

  • Screenshot or print your backup codes
  • Store in a secure location (safe, password manager)
