Your Rights as an Athlete
Ownership: You own all your personal information and performance data
Control: You decide who can see and access your data
Portability: You can export or download your data at any time
Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and associated data
Modification: You can update or correct your information
What Data You Own
- Personal Information: Name, contact details, profile photo
- Profile Information: Bio, achievements, credentials
- Performance Data: Your match statistics (though Solo Arena verifies accuracy)
- Video Content: Video highlights you upload (Solo Arena stores, you own)
- Messages: Private communications you send
- Account Settings: Your preferences and privacy configurations
What Solo Arena Does With Your Data
Storage & Custody
Solo Arena stores your data to:
- Create and maintain your ADI
- Make it accessible to authorized parties (scouts, sponsors, etc.)
- Enable platform functionality
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery
- Support customer service requests
What Solo Arena Does NOT Do
- Does not sell your personal data
- Does not sell your statistics
- Does not sell your contact information
- Does not use your data for purposes you didn't approve
- Does not share data with marketers or advertisers
- Does not use your image without permission
Legitimate Uses
Solo Arena uses your data for:
- Providing platform services
- Improving platform features
- Fraud prevention and security
- Legal compliance
- Analytics to improve user experience (anonymized)
- Communication about platform updates
Data Sharing With Your Consent
Scouts & Universities: You can allow scouts to view your profile and statistics
Sponsors: You can grant sponsors access to performance data
Coaches: You can authorize coaches to view your statistics
Teams: You can share data with teams you join
Consent Model: YOU choose what to share and with whom
Verified Match Data
Important Distinction: Match results verified by referees become part of the official record:
- You cannot modify verified match statistics
- These are published as official results
- Accessible to authenticated users on platform
- Part of your permanent athletic record
- This is necessary to maintain data integrity
However: You control who can see this data through privacy settings
Exporting Your Data
Download Your Information:
- Go to Settings → Account
- Select "Download My Data"
- Choose format (JSON, CSV, PDF)
- Choose date range (optional)
- Download link generated within 24 hours
Included in Export:
- All personal information
- Complete match history
- Statistics and performance data
- Messages (if you want to include)
- Profile photos and uploads
- Consent and privacy settings
Deleting Your Account
Permanent Deletion:
- Go to Settings → Account
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion (cannot be undone)
- All personal data deleted within 30 days
What Gets Deleted:
- Personal information
- Profile data
- Private messages
- Account settings
- Contact information
What Remains:
- Verified match results (anonymized)
- Contributions to leagues/tournaments (record purposes)
- Transaction history (for legal/tax purposes)
For Coaches & Team Managers
Team Data Ownership: Team managers own team data and rosters
Player Data: Individual players always own their personal data
Shared Ownership: Team statistics are shared - both players and team manager can access
Dissolution: If team disbands, all data returns to individual players
For Arena Hosts
Facility Data: You own your facility information and listings
Event Data: You own data about events you host
Match Results: Match results are official records (once verified)
Business Analytics: You own all reports and insights about your business
For Sponsors
Campaign Data: You own your campaign data and investment records
Performance Reports: You own reports about your sponsored athletes
Athlete Data Limits: You only see data athletes consented to share

GDPR Compliance: Your data ownership rights are protected under GDPR
Right to Access: You can request all data Solo Arena has about you
Right to Portability: You can request your data in machine-readable format
Right to Erasure: You can request deletion (with limited exceptions)

Third-Party Integrations
If you connect external services (social media, etc.):
- You control what data is shared
- You can disconnect at any time
- You control permissions granted
- Solo Arena does not access data beyond what you allow
